THE OPPORTUNITY

The lobby and onsite restaurant for the Courtyard Washington at Embassy Row, in an upscale corridor of Washington DC, needed to be completely renovated and rebuilt with custom finishes and fixtures. Everything in these spaces had to be expertly-installed, including, but not limited to flooring, lighting, wallpaper, FF&E, registration desks, countertops, and all millwork. The historic, 140-year-old building had to be remodeled with care, as to not disturb interior spaces that needed to be preserved. Our team bought their proven track record of large scale and prominent interior renovations to the project.
Our team’s group of 15, which consisted of the most skilled tradesmen, demoed the lobby and restaurant to rebuild the entire interior area, while the hotel was still in operation. The team managed workflow by working through the night and off-peak business hours to avoid impacting hotel guest during their stay. The project was completed on schedule, within three months, and within the $650,000 budget.
